#Addicted

I am seriously addicted to Instagram. If you're not sure as to what on earth I am talking about - you are either living under a rock or....you have a life. Instagram is a simple photo editing app that you can get on your iPhone/iPod to make all of your pretty little pictures look extra snazzy. It's a fun and easy way to upload everything and anything that you think is cool/wish was cool/is cool.

With this insane Canadian weather lately it is SO difficult to determine what to wear each morning. Therefore I've been doing a lot of layering to keep myself cool enough in the sizzling heat, yet warm enough so I don't freeze to death when the weather takes a turn for the worst. Inspired by the likes of Poppy Delevigne and of course, Alexa Chung, I've taken it upon myself to embrace my summer wardrobe of skirts and dresses (even though it seems crazy to be wearing such items in the middle of March) and layer them with my favourite coats and jackets. Need I say, I nearly have a heart attack each time I spot Poppy in her killer metal plated Chanel boots *swoon*. Another big step that I am trying so eagerly to take, is to incorporate more colour into my daily attire. I can't stress enough how much I looooove wearing black on black on black...on black. However, as the flowers bloom and the birds begin to chirp I must force myself to add a little pop of colour here and there in hopes that the sun will keep shining and I will soon enough be able to pack away all of my bulky winter clothing.

Skull candle holder, Urban Barn

I have a seriously strange fascination with skulls, so I was super excited when I found this little beauty at Urban Barn over the weekend! It's such a great accent piece for my bedroom and looks awesome when it's lit up at night. If you have a moment, check out their website...they have skull salt & pepper shakers. I know, right. So rad.

I absolutely love days like today! It's incredibly refreshing to wake up to the sun shining through my window (something that hasn't seemed to happen for months...) and take full advantage of the gorgeous 20 degree weather. This weekend kicked off the beginning of my March break and it couldn't have been better. I can't get over how crazy the weather has been lately...one day it's snowing and the next, there isn't a cloud in the sky! But hey - any excuse to throw my winter boots aside and bring out my fave leopard loafers and bright red skinny jeans is fine with me!
